GROJBAND gets a GREENLIGHT...
TELETOON gave our new show GROJBAND a GREENLIGHT!!!
Following Friday’s news of FremantleMedia Enterprise’s partnership with Animation Collective for new children’s and teen content, the company’s kids and family entertainment division has snapped up the rights to the brand-new Teletoon original production Grojband.
Toronto, Canada-based Fresh TV has received the green light from Teletoon on the animated musical comedy series, which is aimed at kids ages six to 11. The show follows 12-year-old Corey and his three best friends as they struggle to rocket their garage band to international stardom.
FME will serve as the worldwide distributor for television, brand licensing, home entertainment rights and other ancillary rights (excluding Canada) for the series.
Grojband marks FME’s third new series, and its first animated series, in less than two years with Fresh TV.

Sid and Marty Krofft's Greatest Saturday Morning Hits (DVD, 2011)
The Krofft DVD I did the art work for is now available on Ebay
As you can see, they messed with the art a bit - but that's okay... it was a fun project.

Development...
Last year I was lucky enough to be asked to work on one of the biggest brands in the world - BARBIE! Specifically the Barbie Fashionistas. I did a bunch of prelim design stuff and had tons of fun with the development.
The finished product was executed by another team of talented artists and their work is finally online.

3 PROGRAMS ???...
It took 3 different programs to make this one image. I drew it in Flash, cleaned it in Illustrator and colored it in Photoshop. I think I'm just dumb and don't know any of these programs well enough to use them to their full potential. I mean..,there's gotta be ONE program that can do it all, right?
To clarify - A program that will allow me to minipulate the proportions of my thumbnail drawings then 'clean' them with a crisp 'vector' line that looks like a kick ass Illustrator brush. Then be able to color it as if it were watercolor with drybrushed highlights, alpha shadow layers and stampable custom t-shirt designs and, AND the ability to zoom in infinately witout pixelation and then break it all down in that 'same' program for it to be aminated. That's all.

Someone please enlighten me.
(and just sos ya know...I called myself dumb so that you wouldn't)
