Taking over the world one drawing at a time.
Really cool Sas-crotch Todd! Yeah, maybe changing the opacity a bit on the dry brush? But it's still totally Kauf!("Kauf" is going to be the replacement for "cool" one of these days)
This is a really awesome piece - I love the design and concept.I think overall both versions look good, but yeah the drybrush does seem a tad excessive, and the plain one seems rather uh too plain. I would try to just tone it down a bit and only use it to help define the shadowed edges and/or highlights to help give it more volume and dimension.I'm sure you know of him already, but take a close look at some of Steve Lambey's stuff and the way he applies the drybrush PS effect - he's a master.
I dunno... I think they both look great, but I'm a little partial to the flat one myself....not that one's better than the other, just a personal choice. Love the design and the concept is hilarious! Great work as always sir.
FANTASTIC!!! I love the fact that underpants & sweat bands are totally appropriate attire for cartoons! Great design once again. Turn your head & Kauf! (I know, I know, with a last name like Deal, i've heard em all before as well)
The design and colors are top notch, Todd. That drybrush stuff is only icing :) If you're looking for feedback, my advice would be to keep it more simple. Maybe shadows only. Too much and it gets muddy. I've done it myself toooo many times.
wow man, amazing stuff, the studio i work at just put out a promo as well, and seeing yours, i think we have a LOONG way to go.... 'total drama island' blows me away, best to u with that.
No brush. Don't need it. Awesome piece!
this guy's great!
Ha ha! He prefers "briefs"!
